Evangelism Is A Lifestyle

February 8, 2020

“And He said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation.”

When we have truly encountered the love and grace Jesus has for us, from the overflow, we too learn to love others more than ourselves. It’s impossible not to share the love of Christ or be moved by compassion towards the lost souls. The burning desire to tell people of the endless living bread and water found in Jesus Christ alone.Ephesians 4:4-6
“There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.”

More than an outreach, as we went around Talisay, Laurel, Agoncillo and Tagaytay, we’ve experienced as one body in Jesus, the power of the Holy Spirit through outdoor street evangelism.

More than 300 people were saved. Everyone knew what part we had to do without being told. Everyone cooperated with the Holy Spirit and operated on the anointing and spiritual gifts we were given.

As the Holy Spirit led us, be it in big numbers, to small families, or one to one evangelism, we saw people accepting Jesus Christ with open hearts.

Together, even under the threat to evacuate, we boldly went nearer as can be to Taal as we all declared Jesus as God of everything on Earth and against further eruption.

Not one person rejected being prayed for. They were hungry for prayer. More than the feeling of hopelessness having lost their homes and livelihood, they longed to hear and be affirmed of the love of Jesus for them even more.

Even as our day ended, during our dinner, Jesus allowed us to pray for the owner of the restaurant, a Christian needing encouragement. He needed to be reminded of who Jesus is and who he is in Jesus.

Truly, when we trust and obey, Jesus Christ goes before us.

Mark 16:20
“And they went out and preached everywhere, while the Lord worked with them and confirmed the message by accompanying signs.”

Praising Jesus for He truly did all the work for us. We simply became His mouth, feet and hands for the furtherance of His Kingdom.

To God be the glory!

A Taste of Miracle of Fishes and Loaves

February 1, 2020

1

The miracles of our Lord Jesus were never just arbitrary, spur-of-the-moment bursts of “raw” supernatural power.

No way!

The miracles of Jesus Christ were designed to teach as well as to authenticate His deity. They were always planned and purposeful demonstrations of the power of God.

The “how-to” of meeting needs is the miracle which we experienced first hand in a bigger scale this week.

We have seen and tasted God’s miracle of multiplication!

The donations we’ve received and the amount the ministry apportioned were no match with the gigantic needs of the people affected by Taal now that they are starting to rebuild their lives.

Jesus impressed on our hearts to give out 200 grocery bags. While buying the items we listed, reality struck sharply as we realized just how little we can afford to give.

With childlike faith, I uttered a simple prayer and asked Jesus to multiply what little we had.

Little did I know that He already did.

When John and I got home, we were surprised to see donations our friend Ian collected.

We actually saw how our fishes and loaves multiplied before our very eyes that night.

The 40k worth of goodies we had, quickly multiplied to almost 100k worth of donations we received in kind last Friday. This included 200 pcs of freshly baked loaves of bread. 🙂

2We worked tirelessly to repack everything. With no sleep, off we went to Tanauan in partnership with VCF last Saturday. With Ptr. Henry and his flock, we were able to share the gospel and distribute relief goods.

Praise Jesus! More than a hundred people accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

As we saw the crowd grew bigger, we knew that the 200 bags were not enough. The names on the list were already 215 and many still came.

Thank you Jesus. We don’t know how, but every family represented from those crowd went home with Jesus in their hearts and grocery bags on their hands.

Jesus once again, multiplied in a supernatural way.

From this miracle, I realized that the giver of the “five loaves and two fish” will always be blessed along with the receiver. In fact, we ended up with far more than we had when we started!

Even after the relief operations, we had left over bags to give out to people in Talisay, Batangas.

Our hearts almost bursted in pain as we saw their hard living conditions. Relief goods do not reach them. Yet with the very little we gave out, they were so grateful.

We saw the need and we have decided to come back to them on Saturday.

With this vision, in faith, Jesus will give the provision to resupply our resources for the further meeting of their needs.

Jesus taught us to “give what we have.” We are not expected to give what we don’t have, but we are expected to give what we do have!

Are you still clinging to your “five loaves and two fishes to meet your own needs and wants? Or have you turned everything you have over to the Lord?

Just like the boy who gave his whole lunch to the Lord, we can be sure that God will continue to meet our needs as we work with Him in meeting the needs of others!

To all our volunteers, donors and partners, thank you. May the Lord return a thousandfold what you all have seeded in the furtherance of God’s Kingdom.

Love of Jesus In Action

January 14, 2020

Jesus HUGS Ministries under “Operation HUGS In Action,” in partnership with RBC MDC Corporation, Hopewell Integrated School and Christ Followers Fellowship have responded to the call of service.

Together with our volunteers, we worked together to sort and repack donations for the relief goods for the affected families of the “Taal Volcano Eruption.

Although we are in Cavite, none compares with the devastating situation our kababayans in Batangas have suffered. Jesus Christ commanded us believers to help those in need for His Name’s sake.

Jesus HUGS Ministries are thankful to Navara Nation PH, through Ian Jay Perminola, for taking on the big task of directly transporting and distributing these goods to the people of Batangas.

All glory and honor to Jesus alone.

Jesus HUGS Aetas of Porac Pampanga

April 25, 2019

On April 22, an earthquake hit Luzon. Sadly, Porac, Pampanga was one of the areas that got severely affected. Many Aeta families were displaced from their homes.

Last Friday, a dear sister in Christ asked if Jesus HUGS Ministries could partner with CSB Revival Mission. She told Daisy that Caleb, her son, while they were at the grocery asked her to buy candies for the children too. She explained that they were not part of the list as they focused only on basic needs. This wonderful boy then asked, “but how about the Aeta children?” With the words of Caleb in her heart, the first person she thought of reaching for help was our President and CEO, Daisy to sponsor “Kiddie Treats” for the Aeta children too.

Jesus readily answered a request from another daughter of God and a prayer of a small child, through His ministry, Jesus HUGS.

Daisy and her loving family ever ready to respond in love to the call of action from our Lord, went to Landers with her. While they were there, Joshua, their eldest son and John, got an impression from the Lord to buy a durable “preplast food container” from the US so that the children can use and reuse. We all agreed to buy the children food that was nutritious regardless of the cost. They have to feel the love of Jesus by what they receive.  Mother’s Day was spent happily packing these love tokens from Jesus even if they stayed until 1am to finish. Josiah, with his little chubby fingers helping and his non stop stories from the Bible kept everyone awake.

Jesus gives only the best! He gave His life for us and for them. We are to love them as God loved us.

“Dahil mahal ka ng Panginoong Hesus, mahal na mahal din kita.” In their local language: “Kabay pankaidwan kang Bapan Namalyari, kakaidwan kata et.”

It’s such a privilege to be used by Jesus to be a blessing to those He loves.

Jesus HUGS Rustan’s Evia

December 29, 2019

81789887_10157710755487492_3957142052013080576_nWe feel saddened to know that Rustan’s Supermarket Evia will be closing permanently as of December 31. Two days from now, people who have become friends over the years will lose their jobs.

All of the people who worked here have been a tremendous blessing to me and family for many years. Going to the supermarket every week has always been a joy because of their familiar faces, ready smiles and warm greetings. It is with a heavy heart that we may not see them by next year.

Jesus reminded me that it is when we sacrificially give even when it hurts that we find true happiness. When we give, we must not expect anything in return. Giving selflessly allows us to experience pure joy.Thank you Jesus for the privilege to be blessed to be a blessing. As the year ends, we look fervently to the new year ahead with expectancy because Jesus is a good good Father.Blessed Happy New Year everyone.

Jesus Christmas HUGS “Thanksgiving Kiddie Party”

December 15, 2019

We are blessed to have sponsored and hosted a “Jesus Christmas HUGS Thanksgiving Kiddie Party” for the less privileged children who lives in the mountains of Antipolo, Rizal.

It’s truly heartwarming to witness how our volunteers joyfully woke up at 3:00 am to travel all the way from Cavite to Rizal. We were all excited and determined to be onsite at 6:00 am and welcome these wonderful kids.

Despite their young age and challenging lifestyle, they understood that the greatest gift they could have for Christmas is the “gift of salvation” from Jesus Christ. He alone is the reason for this season.

We were humbled by the many young souls who earnestly prayed and accepted Jesus Christ  as their Lord and Savior.

Our ministry’s advocacy is to pray and seed on the lives o the “NextGen,” decreeing and declaring in Jesus Name, that they will experience the “supernatural outpouring of the Spirit of the Living God” in their lives. From them, in faith, we are believing that, many will be spared from the chains and pains of abuse, poverty, addiction, depression, and suicide. Out from their family line will arise radically surrendered followers of Jesus Christ.

Praising Jesus for our ministry partners for making this event possible because of their never ending support, love, prayer, generosity and kindness. They have made it possible for these kids to experience the love and hugs of Jesus Christ this Christmas as they received the best kiddie package in Jollibee, got great gifts from SM and brought home goodie bags for their families.

Grateful for Caring For Others Foundation for the partnership and the privilege to bless these children. Thankful to Joshua, the Youth Ministry Director and official photographer who took these awesome pictures.

Maraming maraming salamat po. Tunay nga na “Bida Ang Saya Kay Jesus” sa Jollibee.

Jesus HUGS Kids Dumagat Tribe of Antipolo

December 22, 2018

Jesus HUGS Ministries in partnership with Dorcas Miracle Ministries served the community people of Sitio San Joseph of Antipolo and families from the Dumagat Tribe of Antipolo, Rizal.

We were so blessed with the humility, and surrender of the people to Jesus and the faithfulness of the workers there. God’s presence was so thick, it brought healing and deliverance to so many. Even children came forward to receive prophecy and prayer. We hope that we can scale more lands and mountains to bring Jesus to everyone.
